Aging and Your Major Networking Event
Learn about Career and Intern Options in Aging Services
Monday, April 23, 2012 · 11 AM - 1 PM
The
Erickson School is hosting a networking event entitled "Aging and YOUR
Major" on Monday, April 23rd in the AOK library. This event gives
students an opportunity to network with successful professionals working
for aging services organizations from a variety of fields including
nursing, real estate, physical therapy, business administration,
financial analysis, nurse, and government. This event showcases the
broad scope of aging services and how it can relate to a student of any
major, and even give some ideas to those who are still undecided!
Additionally, there will be recruiters present at
the event seeking to hire UMBC students for employment and internship
opportunities so attending students are encouraged to bring their
resumes.
The event is from 11:00 am - 1:00 on the 7th floor of the
library and is fully catered so lunch and refreshments are included for
all attendees. Please see the attached flyer and email Amanda Shinholser at ash22@umbc.edu with any questions or to RSVP! Space is limited, so we ask that all those interested RSVP by Monday, April 16th.
