Braxton Dubin is a UMBC alumnus (2017) with a Bachelors of Science degree in Computer Science. While an undergraduate, Mr. Dubin was a NSA affiliate and a Meyerhoff Scholar. Braxton is exploring the possibility of a career in video game design, so the Pi Squared and certain related projects are well-aligned to his longer-term goals.
"UMBC offers fantastic opportunities in cutting edge research," says Braxton. "The Pi Squared Hybrid reality Lab is one of those opportunities. My interest in hybrid reality and virtualization aligns well with this project, and I am happy to be working with Dr. Engel in this lab."
Braxton's work with the Pi Squared is made possible with the support of the UMBC Division of Information Technology, whose broad mission includes enhancing computational infrastructure for UMBC research.
