UMBC provides direct support to students seeking to apply for nationally competitive scholarships. If you are interested in applying for one of these opportunities, you are required to upload a dossier which includes your current transcripts, resume, personal statement (if you have one already written), a short statement about your future academic and career plans, and a short statement about why you want to pursue this scholarship. Once this is received, you will be contacted to set up an in-person appointment to meet with Dr. April Householder. Before beginning this process, please review the eligibility guidelines for the scholarship(s) you are interested in. If you have general questions about any of these opportunities, please email Dr. Householder at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Please be aware that all scholarships listed below require university sponsorship, and have an on-campus application/interview process, and an internal deadline that is earlier than the final submission deadline.
