4Front is looking for a college student/young adult to work their Teen Peer Leadership Fellowship Retreat on the weekend of October 13th.
4Front’s Peer Leadership Fellows is a paid internship that trains and empowers teens to be communal connectors. Fellows learn how to build relationships, engage their peers in meaningful, identity-based conversation, and connect their networks with opportunities available to teens in the Baltimore Jewish community and beyond. The program kicks off with a retreat where we focus on group bonding while understanding what peer engagement is through a variety of activities and discussions.
Weekend expectations for a second staff member:
- Actively supervise teens during programming and downtime
- Observe shabbat alongside teens (no phone usage in public)
- Timely to meals and sessions
- Support program facilitator
- Optional: program facilitation and/or shabbat song leading
The retreat will take place at Pearlstone Retreat Center in Reisterstown MD, beginning on October 13th at 4:45pm and ending on Sunday October 15th at 10:00 am. Payment for the weekend would be $500.
