The Hadar Campus Minyan Fellowship is looking for applicants, more details can be found below! If you're not already a Shabbat leader and would like to be, or would like to find a partner to apply with, please email Aliza at asilverman@umbc.edu
"The Hadar Campus Minyan Fellowship is designed for college students looking to build or strengthen campus egalitarian minyanim, and connect with other student leaders looking to do the same. Participants in the fellowship will build skills in minyan leadership such as minyan visioning, marketing, gabba'ut, strategic planning, and community leadership. The fellowship also provides a venue for campus minyan leaders to share their challenges and successes with colleagues from other colleges in order to learn from and provide guidance to each other.
The Hadar Campus Minyan Fellowship is open to college students with a projected graduation year of 2024 or later (current Freshman-Juniors). The ideal applicant is a current or rising leader of a college minyan, as well as students who are hoping to create this type of minyan on their campus. For our 2023 pilot year, we encourage students to apply in pairs with another student from their campus, though applications from students on a campus without another student partner will be considered. "
The fellowship will meet bi-weekly on Wednesdays via zoom, 8:30-9:30 PM ET. A $250 stipend is awarded upon completion of the fellowship. Applications are due Friday, January 20th
