This week, occupation forces murdered Shaymaa Alareer, the daughter of Gazan activist and educator Refaat Alareer who was martyred in December. He wrote her the poem “If I must die,” which propelled kites as a powerful symbol of freedom, resilience, and hope for Palestinians.
Join us this Wednesday for a discussion on education in Gaza and the role academic advocates like Dr. Alareer play in Palestinian resistance. We will end the event by creating and flying kites to demonstrate our unwavering solidarity with Palestinian liberation
