In the next few days we plan to start removing inactive users from groups. This will help minimize the amount of email myUMBC sends to those that appear to be uninterested and to clean out group rosters that have become bloated over the years.
There are currently about 12,000 people with group memberships that have not used myUMBC (meaning not logging in or reading any notifications sent via email) in over a year and are no longer an active faculty, staff, or student.
Most of these are alumni that we hope have moved on to bigger and better things.
