Dear Graduate Students and Graduate Assistants,
As graduate students, we understand your academic workload can be overwhelming and stressful. Here are some resources provided by Retriever's Integrated Health (RIH) to help you take care of your physical and mental well-being and be prepared for emergency situations:
Services:
- Physical and Gynecological Exams (charged $10 for a scheduled RIH visit).
- Allergy injections.
- STI Screening.
- Acupuncture and Massage Therapy: with a co-pay of $20 on the student health insurance.
- Psychiatry - Medication consultations.
Counseling and Self-care:
- Single session, individual therapy, group therapy
- Various support groups i.e., graduate student support group, international student support group etc.
- Mind Spa: A physical space on campus for practicing meditation, mindfulness, and self-care with massage chairs, meditation cushions, breathing/mindfulness exercises, self-care corner with tutorials and self-help books.
- Togetherall: Peer to Peer support
Emergency, Crisis and After-hours:
- For suicide, mental health, and substance-abuse emergencies, call or text at 988.
- Contact Campus Police for emergency transportation assistance.
- Contact RIH after-hours support line for non-life threatening situations when RIH is closed.
