To kick off UMBC’s self-study accreditation process, Terence Peavy, vice president for institutional field relations at Middle States Commission on Higher Education, will visit campus on Thursday, March 7. Accreditation assures students, families, governmental entities, and peers in higher education that UMBC is providing a quality education. Faculty, staff, and students are welcome to attend and participate in the session in the AOK Library Gallery at 1:30 p.m. as Dr. Peavy explains the accreditation process, how the entire UMBC community can get involved, and answers questions.
