I moderated morning and afternoon oral sessions at the UMBC 31st McNair Scholars Research Conference today. The conference was held at the Hilton Baltimore Inner Harbor in downtown Baltimore as in the previous year. We had volunteer students from the software engineering MPS program. The conference lived up to its promise of "Changing the World through Creative Exploration" with sessions ranging from reimagining the feminine image of black women to the pandemic long pole effect on child wellbeing and from number theory for public education to particle physics studying extraction techniques for K-mesons form factors.
