This Wednesday!
Wednesday, September 25, 2013 · 12 - 12:45 PM
Hello Everyone!
Hope you're all doing well this semester. I have some exciting news that I know you'll enjoy:
The Political Science Council of Majors will be holding our inaugural luncheon this Wednesday (9/25) promptly from 12pm to 12:45pm. With tradition in mind, this "Brown-Bag" (bring your own lunch) event will be held in Room 354 of the Public Policy Building.
I am pleased to inform you that our guest speaker will be the famous Dr. Rachael Hinkle! Dr. Hinkle is a bright new addition to our Political Science Department:
As an assistant professor here at UMBC, her "research agenda focuses on judicial politics with particular attention to gleaning insights from the content of judicial opinions through the use of computational text analytic techniques. She earned her BA summa cum laude in History from Huntington University, J.D. with high distinction from Ohio Northern University, and a Master's Degree in Political Science from the University of Toledo."
Invited to an open forum, students may ask ANY question regarding Dr. Hinkle's extremely successful professional career in the field of political science. You are welcome to email me your questions in advance with confidence that Dr. Hinkle will answer them all.
See you on Wednesday,
Divya Prasad
