The possibilities for exciting interdisciplinary research collaborations between the College of Arts, Humanities and Social Sciences, and the College of Engineering and Information Technologies are limitless. Projects such as the Virtual Buffet and recent collaboration Losing Winter, only scratch the surface. The 2023 IRC Faculty Research Fellowship (IRC-FRF) is an interdisciplinary grant to seed collaborative research between researchers in CAHSS and COEIT. This year, the grant funding provides a maximum of $22,000 to accommodate two researchers for a single project, though the review committee will reserve the right to consider funding more than one smaller project as lesser amounts. The Fellowship can be used to advance a current project or begin an entirely new one.
