SPLASH Spring 2014
Make a SPLASH at UMBC!
Saturday, March 8, 2014 · 8 AM - 5 PM
On Campus
Splash at UMBC is a one-day program in which UMBC students teach a class on any topic to middle and high school students from all over Maryland. Often there is a gap between new college students and their professors. Splash strives to connect high school and colleges students through unique experiences in order to build a community of students on the path to lifelong learning.
In the past, classes have ranged from subjects such as 'How To Be A Ninja,' to 'How To Cook,' to 'How To Solve Differential Equations to ' How To Play FIFA'.
No matter what the subject is, it is always a great time for all those involved.
Registration for teaching a class at Splash this semester is currently closed, but in order for the event to be successful, we need YOUR help. You can help by spreading the word or dropping by as a volunteer at the event.
