2nd Annual CWIT Showcase!

The Center for Women in Technology (CWIT) invites all CWIT Affiliates and Scholars to attend the 2nd Annual CWIT Showcase on Friday, April 27th from 4-6pm in ITE456! The purpose of this event is to bring together the students in the
CWIT Community (CWIT Scholars, SITE Scholars, and CWIT Affiliates) to
share some of their meaningful out-of-the-classroom experiences during
college. The students attending will have the chance to learn about
possibilities to gain experience within their fields, and the students
presenting will be able to hone their presentation skills and ability to
speak about their meaningful experiences with others.
This event will be structured much like a professional conference, with the students preparing to give a 15 minute presentation about an internship, co-op, research, or design experience that was important to them in their major. There will be three concurrent sessions of presentations/discussions within three rooms in ITE - attendees will be able to chose which presentation to attend. I will send out more information about the presentations next week.
