Join the IRB to Learn About Ethical Issues in Research
The IRB is a campus committee that approves, monitors, and reviews research involving humans. Each year the IRB invites students to join the committee.
This site provides a centralized resource to ensure that UMBC conducts its research activities in a manner consistent with federal,state and institutional regulatory requirements. It is through this collaborative effort the UMBC community may achieve compliance but also follow the highest ethical standards governing research activities.
