Maryland's Lt. Governor Anthony Brown will be visiting our meeting on September 26th. He will be bringing his lunch and we're encouraging you to do the same!
We will talk about the role of the Lt. Governor at our September 19th meeting.

Lt. Governor Anthony G. Brown has dedicated his professional life to public service. Elected alongside Governor Martin O’Malley in 2006 and reelected in 2010, Lt. Governor Brown leads the O’Malley-Brown administration’s work to expand and improve health care, support economic development, help victims of domestic violence, increase access to higher education, and provide Veterans with better services and resources.
Prior to serving as Lt. Governor, Anthony Brown represented Prince George’s County for two terms in the Maryland House of Delegates, rising quickly to the position of Majority Whip. A Colonel in the U.S. Army Reserves, Anthony Brown is the nation’s highest-ranking elected official to have served a tour of duty in Iraq.
