Proposal Development Training
Wednesday, January 10, 2018 · 10:30 AM - 12 PM
Proposal development is a collaborative effort that involves cooperation among faculty colleagues and the administrative staff of the University. The Departmental Administrator (DA) provides assistance to the PI during proposal development by assisting with budget development and making certain proposals meet all applicable Federal regulations and University and sponsoring agency policies and procedures.
Please join us as we walk through Proposal Development by reviewing common components of a proposal paying particular attention to the budget and budget justification. We will review direct costs, F&A, cost share and compliance requirements as well as provide best practices for administrators to aid investigators in building adequate and appropriate budgets.
