This is the official page for rushing the Phi-Delta
Zeta (UMBC) chapter of Lambda Chi Alpha fraternity for the Fall 2016 semester.
Lambda Chi Alpha International Fraternity is the 4th largest men's general
fraternity in North America with over 280,000 members and more than 200 active
chapters (known as Zetas). Lambda Chi Alpha was founded in 1909 at Boston
University. As part of its mission to help collegiate men reach their full
potential, Lambda Chi Alpha has developed a program known as True Brother. In
this program, Associate Members learn about some of the core values which we
stand for, which are listed as follows:
Loyalty
Duty
Respect
Service and Stewardship
Honor
Integrity
Personal Courage
Come out to the events, meet the brothers, and
learn what a True Brotherhood is all about. We were the first social fraternity
at UMBC, and this being our thirty seventh year, we are also the longest
lasting fraternity on campus. We were the first fraternity in the world to
abolish hazing and pledges, which is a tradition we carry on today at UMBC with
much pride. We 100% do not haze, and we mean it!!!
