I am moving out of my current place on August 14th. The townhouse is located in Catonsville on Cherrydell Rd. It is about 2 miles away from the UMBC campus, which is about 10 minutes, driving. It is 3-4 minute walking distance from two UMBC Arbutus shuttle stops. It is also on walking distance from Dunkin Donuts, Rite Aid and 7-11 on Frederick Rd.
The house is clean and newly renovated. It comes with washer and dryer, as well as all the kitchen appliances. My room is a master bedroom on the second floor with a closet and a ceiling fan. There are two cats in the house and they are very friendly. The house is shared with another roommate and the landlord also lives here. The landlord has his separate unit in the basement. Everyone in this house is very friendly, easy to get along with and also very professional. They sleep early and get up early to work.
Tenants must clean up after themselves and keep the house neat. Tenants may be required to provide proof of income and also agree to go through background screening upon landlord's request.
Monthly rent is $700 which includes all the utilities. My current lease expires on September 30th and I am looking for someone to take over the lease beginning 8/15 with an option to renew it (after my current lease is up on 9/30). There will be a $350 security deposit required if a tenant decides to renew the lease.
Due to my new job offer I have to move out on August 14th and if anybody is interested in moving in immediately, I can offer to take my room from August 15th through September 30th for only $700!. After this, if a tenant would like to renew the lease, it will be $700 per month like I mentioned.
To be more clear, the room is offered for 45 days beginning 8/15 for only $700 with an option to renew the lease for $700 per month.
