Advising & Student Support

The Learning Resources Center (LRC) is UMBC’s comprehensive undergraduate academic support program. Our mission is twofold: to provide learning assistance services that help students fulfill their goals for an undergraduate education; and to provide learning support to the academic community which enables undergraduate students to have the opportunity for an honors university experience at a research university.

Student Support Services (SSS) is designed for students who are low-income, first generation college students, and students with disabilities from all racial and ethnic backgrounds who have a need for academic and other support services in order to successfully complete their college education.
