In todays’ fast-paced and complex business world, learning to as Stephen Covey puts it: “sharpen the saw” as it relates to continued development, gives employees a critical workplace advantage in reducing stress and improving efficiency. Come join UMBC faculty and staff colleagues in learning techniques, strategies, and tools that have the ability to enhance your personal and professional effectiveness and skyrocket productivity.
In this interactive 1-hour session, part of the Productive Work Habits Series: Ways to Get Stuff Done at UMBC and Beyond, you’ll dive into hands-on practice in Google Drive with DoIT Instructional Technology Specialist, Holly Bielak. Learn how to create Docs, Sheets, and Slides (Google’s version of Word, Excel, and PowerPoint), and also set up simple surveys in Google Forms. You’ll also learn how to share items, view revisions histories, and much more. Test your abilities in a fail-free environment and share your knowledge and skills learned back in the office with colleagues to enhance your department’s efficiency and effectiveness!
