Welcome to the wonderful world of Shazam Ultimate!! We are UMBC's one and only Women's Ultimate Frisbee team, and we were born to shine. Our captain is the lovely Marlie Somers!
Shazam! is a recently created team that is committed to spreading the love of frisbee to every girl, on campus and off. We practice several times a week, and help our ladies learn basic throwing and catching skills, as well as the rules of the game and how to be fit. Don't be afraid if you've never played before! It's so much fun!
However, let's not forget our partner-in-crime, Booya! Booya is our men's ultimate frisbee team and we share a special relationship with them, practicing with them on Fridays and of course, spending quality time partying with them on the weekends! What better partner for a flying giraffe then a lovable pink elephant!
