Election Night Extravaganza: Coffee and Conversation
Discuss our current political climate over coffee!
Wednesday, November 2, 2016 · 6 - 8 PM
How are you feeling about the election? You might be faced with this question all the time, forced to confront the reality of our political state every time you turn on the news. It's safe to say that many of us are left feeling very powerless in the wake of what's been happening. So what do you want to talk about?
SGA's Election Night Extravaganza is excited to bring to you Coffee and Conversation, an event based on discussion and forward-thinking. Coffee, tea, and other light refreshments will be served, and a group of panelists active in political analysis will answer questions followed by freeform discussion. During this critical time, we need to feel that there are actions we can take and ways we can discuss the hostility we see around us.
Want to talk? Come drink coffee with us.
Panelists:
Dr. Jodi Kelber-Kaye, Honors College Director
Lisa M. Gray, Assistant Director of Student Life, Cultural and Spiritual Diversity
Dr. Ellen Gorman, Lecturer and Assistant Professor of American Studies
