ASME Outreach Event at Norwood Elementary
Want to inspire kids to love STEM? Here's another chance!
Friday, December 5, 2014 · 1 - 3 PM
Off Campus : Norwood Elementary
Norwood Elementary, a Title 1 STEM school, has reached out to ASME to host a STEM activity for their 2nd graders.
This event has been changed from being split on 11/21 and 12/5 to just being on Friday 12/5 from 1pm-3pm. We will host a short lesson on the basic engineering components of building a popsicle bridge and then get right into building for the remaining time!
If interested, please email Andrew Brow at Abrow1@umbc.edu to confirm that you can volunteer. The school is about 20 minutes from campus so we will be leaving at 12:30pm.
Inspire future engineers by showing them how fun STEM can be!
