myUMBC is the best place to share your upcoming events, discussions, media, news, and spotlights with the rest of the UMBC community. Guidelines for Posting Spotlights
- Only UMBC Departments, Student Organizations, and Student Organization Interest Groups can post spotlights.
- Spotlights for events held off campus will only be posted if they are sponsored by a recognized UMBC Student Organization or Department, tickets are sold on campus, and transportation is provdided for those attending.
- Alcohol consumption should not be the focus of any postings.
- Weekly occurences and tabling activities on Main Street or the Breezeway (bake sales and other) should be posted to the Events calendar, not Spotlights.
- There is a 7 day limit on the run time for Spotlights.
- Anything that is in direct competition/conflict with a UMBC Department will not be posted.
